Technical Foundation Programme Manager, Inland Revenue
Jonathan has 20 years’ experience working in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) field in retail, consumer products and manufacturing.
Jonathan has held leadership roles at a number of large and niche ERP consulting organisations.
Jonathan has extensive background of project and program management, and solution architecture, and has over 15 years’ experience in scoping, creating solutions and delivering complex technology projects.
He has completed over 20 full life cycle projects over the past 15 years, including 12 as Enterprise/Solution Architect, and nine as Project/Programme Manager, most of which have included complex integration challenges.
Many small businesses will agree that managing tax compliance can be a time-consuming and costly exercise.
As part of its major business transformation, Inland Revenue is working with a range of third parties to fit tax compliance into a business's broader administration functions. The goal is to make tax simpler and more seamless for businesses.
This commitment is seeing the tax eco-system, once solely administered by Inland Revenue, being opened up to software developers and other parties. This is allowing developers to do what they do best - developing new innovative services for New Zealanders.
Jonathan Pickard will discuss Inland Revenue’s partnership with private sector software developers, and highlight challenges as well as opportunities.
