Andrew Cushen

Deputy CEO, InternetNZ

Andrew is the Deputy Chief Executive of InternetNZ, and is responsible for leading their Operations and Issues teams. He's really enthused by InternetNZ's mission to promote the benefits and uses of the Internet and protect its potential, and in particular in exploring the massive untapped potential for social and economic change that the Internet can provide.

Prior to this role, Andrew has over a decade's experience in telecommunications across strategy, public policy and commercial management. He has also undertaken research into the use of the Internet and blog sites to influence New Zealand politics, and currently sits on the Trust Board of the Innovation Partnership.
