Shayne Hunter

CIO, Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa DHBs

Shayne began his career with IBM in 1980 as a computer engineer and became NZ Professional Services Manager before leaving in 1993 to establish the first of his own businesses.

He has had many roles including operational and executive management, project and programme management and management consulting.

He has worked almost exclusively in health for the last 15 years including primary and secondary care plus a number of national programmes.

He is currently the CIO for Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa DHBs.
