A critical element of an organisation’s resilience is their IT Service Continuity and IT Recovery of systems.
Pradeep Navalkar will look at IT Service Continuity and IT Recovery through the lens of governance, risk management, operations and assurance.
He will discuss his observations and findings and share some of the lessons learnt while embarking on the IT Recovery journey in his present role.

Pradeep Navalkar is the Principal Advisor ICT for Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment based in Wellington (New Zealand), and has over 20 years of experience in a variety of roles in both public and private sectors.
Pradeep began his career as an IT professional and has been a member of ISACA, IIA, itSMF, IITP and RiskNZ for quite a few years.
Over a period of time, he has gained working experience in IT, information management, risk management, assurance, consulting, organisational resilience, people management and mentoring.
Pradeep has set up and managed an IT Recovery Information Processing Facility for 24 x 7 electricity market systems, and has also later audited Business Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recovery operations, and provided advice to manage risks identified.
Pradeep finds value in taking a different lens and perspective on challenges and problems.
He has used this technique on a day-to-day basis with life, career, volunteering, and also through mentoring and coaching of team members.
